40 Winks with the Sphinx Sleepover

Discover the Penn Museum in a unique way with a flashlight expedition through the galleries and exclusive access to special exhibitions. At bedtime, roll out your sleeping bag and fall asleep in galleries filled with objects and artifacts from around the world.

Designed for families with children ages 3 to 6, Playdates feature illustrated stories told in Museum galleries, hands-on reproduction artifacts, and make-and-take art activities—plus a snack!

Birthday Parties

Children turning ages five through twelve can celebrate their special day at the Penn Museum! Children and their favorite grown up guests enjoy gallery tours, art projects, games, and a private party space.

Cartifact facilitators answer questions and provide opportunities to handle touchable reproductions of artifacts from Ancient Egypt and Rome in this hands-on experience for visitors of all ages.

Anthropologists in the Making Summer Camp

Anthropologists in the Making is a summer camp for children ages 7-13. It provides a wide variety of fun, creative learning activities for kids in galleries and classrooms.

Junior Anthropologists Summer Camp

The Junior Anthropologists camp program invites curious young minds to explore the Penn Museum through structured, hands-on activities. Junior Anthropologists is designed for children aged 6 who will be entering 1st grade for the 2019-2020 school year.
