Main Entrance
The Main Entrance (Kamin) is located across the street from Franklin Field on South Street, closest to 33rd Street.
This entrance is wheelchair accessible.
East Entrance
The East Entrance (Kress) is for buses, groups, and the general public. The East entrance is approached from Convention Avenue, not South St.
This entrance is wheelchair accessible.
Courtyard Entrance
The Coutyard Entrance is on South Street and is open to the general public while the Main Entrance (Kamin) is under construction.
This entrance is wheelchair accessible.

Temporary Closures
The Museum or its galleries may occasionally be closed to visitors during exhibition updates, private functions, holiday closures, and other events.
Please note these upcoming alerts to help plan your next visit:
- The Mexico & Central America, Africa, and Egypt (Sphinx) Galleries are closed for transformation.
- Saturday, November 9th - Due to a special Penn Museum event, The Chinese Rotunda will close at 1:00pm and Egypt (Mummies) Gallery will close at 3:00pm. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- Thursday, November 14th - The Chinese Rotunda will be closing at 4PM.
