Many of the Museum’s most interesting objects are currently on display in our Signature and Special Exhibition galleries. Museum galleries are open for class visits during normal public hours (Tuesday-Sunday 10 am - 5 pm), or on Mondays and after hours by special request. While reservations are not required, we strongly recommend filling out our Request Form to ensure that the gallery is available.
Gallery visits offer the most flexible format for professors, ranging from instructor-led activities such as tours or group activities to more self-guided ones such as scavenger hunts. Guided tours are available free of charge for Penn classes upon request (dependent upon staff availability). We recommend groups of less than 30 per tour guide. Tours are available for all our galleries and exhibitions, as well as several themed options, all of which can be found here.
